Bezeq to launch ‘Kosher’ internet

Telecommunications provider, rabbinical committee agree on activation of separate internet servers for ultra-Orthodox public to block porn site access

The Rabbinical Committee on Communications and telecommunications provider Bezeq agreed on the activation of separate internet servers for the ultra-Orthodox public in order to block access to porn sites and additional ‘forbidden’ content in haredi homes.
According to the agreement, ultra-Orthodox households will receive a separate ADSL line.
The rabbinical committee will supervise the online content and allow access to only a few sites, apparently including e-mail service and haredi news sites.
At a later stage Bezeq itself may post online ultra-Orthodox content, with the rabbinical committee’s authorization.
