Report: Israel to release Barghouti, Sa'adat in Shalit deal
Palestinian sources estimate that Israel will release senior Fatah member Marwan Barghouti, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestinian Ahmad Sa'adat, and senior Hamas member Abdel Halak al-Natshe in the framework of the prisoner swap deal to release kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit. This was reported in Saudi Arabian newspaper, al-Watan.
According to the same sources, the deal is expected to be announced during a meeting between Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Thursday. (Roee Nahmias)
