Qassam rocket lands south of Sderot; no injuries reported

Palestinian gunmen fired a Qassam rocket from the Gaza Strip toward Israel. The rocket landed in an open area south of Sderot. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
The al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad's military wing, claimed responsibility for firing the rocket. (Tova Dadon and Ali Waked)
