Responding to publications earlier this month of alleged negotiations between Israeli fashion chain H&O and the American trendy fashion manufacturer, Abercrombie & Fitch, a spokesperson for the later announced Abercrombie & Fitch have no intention of coming to Israel in the near future.
In a response sent to Ynetnews, James Yano, Senior VP and General Counsel of Abercrombie & Fitch states that company has not reached any understanding with H&O regarding the sale of Abercrombie & Fitch products. He reiterated that: "H&O will not begin to import Abercrombie & Fitch products to Israel this spring. There are no discussions ongoing between the parties regarding any business relationship, and Abercrombie & Fitch do not intend to initiate such discussions with H&O."
Yano added that: "Abercrombie & Fitch do not intend to do business with H&O nor do we plan to come to Israel anytime in the near future, and certainly not this spring."
