Peretz: IDF not preparing for summer war

Defense Minister Amir Peretz denied reports that the IDF was preparing for a war that would supposedly break out during the summer.
Peretz, speaking before members of the Labor party administration, said "there are no estimates that Israel is preparing for war next summer. There is no data to support this. I call on everyone to be cautious with their statements." Peretz added however that the IDF will of course be ready for any confrontation should it break out. (Attila Somfalvi)
