Arrest of Muslim cleric accused of attempted rape extended by 4 days

The arrest of a 57 year old Muslim cleric has been extended by four days by the Jerusalem magistrate court. The man is suspected of the attempted rape and indecent assault of three young boys from east Jerusalem.
The man is suspected of attempting these acts in a mosque. The suspect has denied the allegations and the investigation continues.The hearing revealed that while the cleric committed his deeds he was attacked by a few residents of the area who noticed what he was up to. (Efrat Weiss)
