Report: Tunnel collapses under road in Gaza Strip
A tunnel collapsed under a Saladin Street in the Gaza Strip, according to a Palestinian report from the Gaza Strip. Many members of the military arm of Hamas are congregating in the area. There has yet to be any official confirmation of the report from Palestinian security sources.
In recent days, Fatah members have claimed that Hamas is digging tunnels under roads near residential areas in which senior Fatah members live in an attempt to assassinate them. According to Fatah officials, President Mahmoud Abbas is one of the targets for assignation, as well as Mohammad Dahlan, a senior Fatah official in the Strip. (Ali Waked)
