A Haifa District Court sentenced a resident of Northern Israel to 3 years imprisonment for breaking into the home of an elderly lady, tying her up and threatening her. The defendant fled from the scene when neighbors came after hearing her screams.
In addition to the active prison term, the accused has also received a 10-month suspended sentence. (Ahiya Raved)
