Peres: Set up settlements for Gaza evacuees

Vice Premier Shimon Peres asked to remove governmental obstacles and set up the settlements for residents of former Gush Katif as soon as possible.
"I suggest that all the faultfinders, who paint the world in dark colors, come and see how a new region is inhabited," Peres said during a tour to the Lachish region with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. "I was here 50 years ago with David Ben-Gurion, and today I can discern the same sense of pioneership." (Ronny Sofer)
