MK Gal-On: Knesset gives immunity to rape suspects

Meretz MK Zahava Gal-On said the Knesset's decision to approve President Moshe Katsav's request for a three-month temporary suspension gave immunity to anyone charged with rape.
"Instead of going to prison the Knesset is telling Kastav 'you can continue as president as if no indictment will be filed against you'. This is a slap in the face for the complainant," she said. (Aviram Zino)
