Arab pary: Majadele's appointment harms struggle against racism

Following Raleb Majadele's appointment as Israel's first Arab minister, the National Democratic Assembly announced that "Majadele's entrance to the Israeli government contradicts the interests of the Arab public in Israel and harms the struggle against racism."

The party's announcement also said that "the appointment of an Arab minister will not change the discrimination against the Arab population and will only legitimize the discriminating policy and Lieberman's racist attitude." (Roee Nahmias)
