Hundreds of students from the city of Ramat Hasharon, near Tel Aviv, participated Friday in a rally calling for the release of Israel’s kidnapped soldiers.

Eyal Regev, brother of kidnapped soldier Eldad Regev, spoke at the rally and called on the government to do more in order to bring the kidnapped soldiers home.

He also addressed the students and reminded them that they too would soon enlist, and that they would need to have confidence in the government incase they were ever caught in a similar situation.

Miki Goldwasser, mother of kidnapped soldier Ehud Goldwasser told Ynet that she was moved by the rally and by “our wonderful youth”.

She also said that anyone who was part of the government or the military during the war must take responsibility.

“They have to do everything to bring them back. They sent them, and they should make sure the boys come home. In my opinion, they aren’t doing enough,” Goldwasser said.

Students and teachers also spoke at the rally.
