MK Shalom slams Olmert for silence over 'Mecca farce'

Knesset Member Silvan Shalom (Likued) said on Saturday that he expects of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to issue a statement "similar to the one issued by the Quartet in reponse to the Palestinian agreement in Mecca.
"It is curious that the PM chooses to remain silent over such an incredible farce. Is this consent-by-silence which will lead to future dialog with the new government?" asked MK Shalom. (Amnon Maranda)
