Tens of thousands of Israeli families have been flocking to resorts, picnic sites and nature serves in Israel's south and north since the early hours Saturday morning, taking advantage of the sunny weather across the country.
Some 6,000 visitors arrived at the Mount Hermon ski site to enjoy the excellent skiing conditions, but the director of the resort said that there were still some vacancies in the parking lot.

Hotels and guesthouses in the area also benefited from the good weather, and reported an average occupancy rate of 80 percent during the weekend.
An impressive number of hikers was also registered in the south, especially in the western Negev region where the anemones are now in bloom.
Ami Uliel, director of the Jewish National Fund's southern branch, told Ynet that in his 30 years in the Negev he has never seen so many hikers, bike riders and jeeps visit the region.
