Increase the pressure on Iran, requests Olmert

Prime minister Ehud Olmert has appealed to the international community to use diplomatic, economic and political sanctions against Iran, as it is not observing the security council resolutions to halt the nuclear processes.
Olmert also reiterated that although Israel was disappointed by the approach of the unity government, he did not intend to sever ties with the Presdident of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas: "The people should not suffer because of their leaders' mistakes of their leaders." (Ronny Sofer)
