Israeli forces enter southern Gaza - Palestinians

Israeli forces entered southern Gaza early Thursday, Palestinians said, in a limited operation apparently aimed at searching for tunnels.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment. Palestinian security officials said the Israeli forces

were operating close to the border, and there were no clashes with Palestinians. (AP)
