Islamic Jihad activist killed in Gaza blast

An explosion went off Monday in the home of an Islamic Jihad activist, wounding 11 people, Palestinian security officials said. The blast took place in the densely populated Shati refugee camp on the outskirts of Gaza City, near the U.N.'s food distribution warehouse.

Security officials said 11 people were hurt, including one who was in critical condition. (AP)
