Government sources: Gaza shooting shows Hamas' true intentions

According to hgh-ranknig diplomatic sources in Jerusalem, Monday's shooting incident near the Gaza Strip's Karni crossing, for which Hamas took responsibility, "is the answer to all those who call on Israel to try to negotiate with Hamas despite it's refusal to accept the conditions set forth by the international community."

The attack was "a criminal attack that demonstrates Hamas' real intentions, despite the subterfuges it has recently engaged in with the goal of receiving international recognition and legitimacy," the sources said.
