Iran tells UN it will not change nuclear policy

Pressure and intimidation will not change Iran's policy, Tehran's foreign minister told the UN Security Council on Saturday in response to a resolution imposing new sanctions on his country.

"Iran does not seek confrontation nor does it want anything beyond its inalienable rights," Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said. "I can assure you that pressure and intimidation will not change Iranian policy...Suspension is neither an option or a solution," Mottaki said. (Reuters)
