UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon laid a wreath of white flowers at the grave of Abbas' predecessor, Yasser Arafat, in Ramallah.
Prior to that, he met together with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, with parents of Palestinians imprisoned in Israel. (AP)
