Army says Palestinians did not ask for assistance with sewage disaster
A senior army officer told Ynet that Palestinian security officer had not asked for Israeli assistance with containing a sewage flood that devastated a village in the northern Gaza Strip.
The officer said Israel had offered to assist in evacuating flood victims to Israeli hospitals and to transfer medical equipment to the Palestinian Authority. (Hanan Greenberg)
