Senior Fatah commander injured by IDF fire

Palestinian sources said Zakariya Zubeidi, a commander in Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, was injured by IDF soldiers operating in Jenin early Saturday.

According to the report, Zubeidi was shot in the shoulder and is in light to moderate condition. Al-Aqsa Brigades members said the incident was an “assassination attempt.” The IDF later confirmed that soldiers opened fire at a gunman in Jenin. (Ali Waked)
