Israeli population: 7,150,000
The Central Bureau of Statistics reported that on the eve of Israel's 59th Independence Day, Israel's population is 7,150,000, compared to only 806,000 at its establishment.
During the last year, the population grew by 121,000 people. The majority (89 percent) came from natural increase. (Ynet)
