Abbas cancels visit to Gaza after Hamas explosive tunnel uncovered

The Palestinian news channel PNN reported Thursday evening that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has cancelled his trip to Gaza after a Hamas explosives tunnel was uncovered on route from the Erez crossing to his Gaza office.
The report did not say if Palestinian security forces were treating this as an attempted assassination on Abbas. (Ali Waked)
