Kabha was arrested in his village near the West Bank city of Jenin. Five soldiers came to Kabaha's house before dawn and took him and his computer, according to his daughter, Ryan.
Kabaha, a minister without portfolio, also was arrested last year for a month during a similar sweep.
The IDF confirmed the arrest and said Kabha was transferred to the custody of security forces for questioning.
Kabha is the second cabinet minister to be seized by Israeli forces in the past week.
Earlier Education Minister Naser al-Shaer of Hamas and 32 other officials in the West Bank were arrested.
Shaer was also previously arrested, after the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, but he was released shortly afterwards.
Simultaneous to the minister's arrest in the West Bank the IDF continued its offensive in Gaza targeting Qassam-launching cells and terror infrastructure.
Palestinian sources reported six air strikes during the night, including one opposite the home of Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, although the army stressed that the prime minister himself was not targeted.
Friday evening two Palestinians were killed and six more wounded when the air force struck a vehicle occupied by Hamas operatives involved in Qassam fire.
