Hamas confirmed that two of its operatives were killed in fire exchange with IDF soldiers.

Military officials stated that Tuesday's raid was part of the overall operations against terror in Gaza.

Some 60 Palestinians were killed since the army began operating in Gaza, including 46 Hamas members, four Islamic Jihad operatives and about 10 civilians.

Meanwhile, a Qassam rocket was fired from Gaza and landed in an open field near Sderot Tuesday morning. No injuries or damage were reported in the attack.
