Israeli aircraft hits Islamic Jihad office

An Israeli helicopter fired missiles at Islamic Jihad offices in Gaza City early Sunday, hours after the organization claimed responsibility for a cross-border raid into Israel, Palestinian security officials said.

They said the attack caused damage to the ground-floor office but no casualties. The Israeli military confirmed an air strike on an Islamic Jihad target in the city. (AP)
