Lieberman slams plans to boost Abbas forces
Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Friday he was opposed to government plans to funnel funds and arms to President Mahmoud Abbas to embolden his security forces.
"It has been proven that transferring arms and money to Fatah strengthen terror elements. Even if we supply Abbas with F-16 jets he has no power or chance," said the hawkish minister. (Ronny Sofer)
