Iran: Talks with EU focused on right to enrich uranium
The negotiations between Iran and the West include the latter's recognition of Iran's right to enrich uranium, said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini Sunday.
"The time for the suspension of the enrichment process has passed and now it's time to discuss Iran's right to do so," said Hosseini in a press conference held in Tehran. EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana and Iranian negotiator Ali Larijani met Saturday in Lisbon, to discuss the Iranian nuclear plan. (Dudi Cohen)
