Olmert: Israel to spare no effort in bringing Gilad Shalit home

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Sunday the Israel "had spared no effort in trying to get Gilad Shalit back ."
"Today we mark one year to his kidnapping…I know what the family is going through. We have been and will continue doing everything we can to bring him home," said Olmert. As to his meeting with US President George W Bush, Olmert – speaking at the cabinet meeting – said that "the president (Bush) is committed to keeping Israel's excellence." (Ronny Sofer)
