Sean Paul and his band visited the Western Wall this morning. The Jamaican dancehall artist, whose grandfather was Jewish, was looking to connect with his Jewish roots and according to his production team, the visit to the Western Wall and the churches in Jerusalem's Old City, was a realization of Sean's dreams as far as Israel.

Sean arrived at the Western Wall with a flute and did not stop playing it throughout his visit. After putting a note between the ancient stones, he met and took pictures with soldiers.

Sean's journey to Israel did not go smoothly: After landing at Ben Gurion airport Wednesday after a long flight from Jamaica via Miami and London. On the way, the group lost 17 suitcases including three of the band members' guitars. Help came from Danny "Piloni" Kark who recently opened a Jamaican clothing shop. Piloni brought replacement outfits for the entire band for their performance last night.
