Egypt will resume efforts to release Shalit – report
Egypt will soon resume its efforts to advance the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper quoted Egyptian sources as saying.
According to the report, Cairo is also working toward the release of Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti in a bid to bolster the group’s position in the West Bank. (Roee Nahmias)
