French FM to Livni: Do more than release 250 prisoners
Israel must do more than just release more than 250 prisoners, although such a move is a "very good sign," French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner told Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni during a meeting in Paris.
"We asked our Israeli friends to take a number of steps, which are more important than the release of 250 prisoners," he said. Among these, Kouchner mentioned the removal of checkpoints in the West Bank.
