Tel Aviv Stock Exchange closes with slight losses

TA-25 Index loses 0.1 percent, TA-100 drops by 0.05 percent; Teva shares continue to rise

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange closed with slight losses on Sunday.

 

Leading indices showed mixed trends: The TA-25 lost 0.1 percent to 1,138.54 points and TA-100 dropped by 0.05 percent to 1,133.62 points, while Tel-Tech rose by 0.04 percent to 433.16 points.

 

Sunday's trade came to NIS 1.19 billion (about $281 million).

 

No foreign currency trade took place Sunday. On Friday, the dollar rose 0.546 percent and is currently being traded at NIS 4.2360. The euro rose 0.144 percent to 4.57578.

 

Bank Leumi shares dropped 0.89 percent.

 

Teva rose 0.86 percent, after opening trade with a positive trading gap of 0.85 percent after receiving FDA approval for its drug Terbinafine – a generic version of nail fungus treatment a few weeks ago.
