Air traffic at Ben Gurion airport halted

Air traffic at Ben Gurion airport was halted Wednesday, after the air traffic control tower experienced severe communications failure.

The tower is unable to communicate with airplanes due to illegal radio stations jamming the airport's frequencies. Gabi Ofir, head of the Israel Airports Authority, ordered all air traffic be halted, but allowed plains that had already began their approach to the airfield to land. (Eli Senyor)
