Abbas to visit Russia next week

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to embark on a three-day visit to Russia next week.
Officials in his office said that Abbas is leaving for a "diplomatic mission" to Moscow and that he plans to meet with several top Russian officials. (AFP)
