TASE closes with losses

TA stock exchange ends week with slumps as dollar rate drops to NIS 4.272, TA-25 loses 1.72%. Teva rises 0.71%

The Tel Aviv stock exchange ended its trading week on a negative note, as the dollar rate dropped 0.14% to NIS 4.272. The euro lost 0.453% and was set at NIS 5.8637%.

 

Leading indices slumped as TA-25 lost 1.72% to 1,072.69 points, TA-100 dropped 1.81% to 1,055.36 points and the Tel-Tech went down 0.86% to 422.72 points.

 

Teva shares went up 0.71%, after reaching $43.8 Wednesday. Delek Group stock dropped 1.77%, as Delek Europe completed a deal with Chevron Energy Corporation, buying 860 gas stations in Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg.

 

Some NIS 1.95 billion were traded Thursday  ($457 million).
