1 killed, several wounded in Hamas rally at Rafah border crossing

A Hamas protester was killed and several others wounded at a Hamas rally on the Egyptian border, medics said.

Tens of thousands of flag-waving Hamas supporters gathered at the Rafah border crossing with Egypt to demand it be reopened. Its gunmen fired in the air to block the massive crowds from approaching the border terminal and attempting to infiltrate into Egypt. A teenager was shot in the head and later died of his wounds and a few others were wounded by random gunfire. (AP)
