Olmert on neo-Nazi youth: We failed in education
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert commented on the arrest of eight youths suspected of neo-Nazi activity, saying, "I am sure no one in Israel remained indifferent to these images that show that we as a society have failed in the education of these youths."
Olmert added, "These specific cases should be treated very severely and we should examine ways to create the right deterrent… Nonetheless, I urge the entire public not to discriminate an entire population and get into generalizations." (Ronny Sofer)
