Palestinian sources reported that a 16-year-old boy was killed by IDF fire in Ramallah in the early hours of Monday morning.
According to hospital officials in the city, three bullets were found in Muhammad Jabrin's body.
IDF officials said soldiers fired at and hit an armed Palestinian who endangered their lives.
Also on Monday, IDF forces arrested 13 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank cities of Jenin, Qalqiliya, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Hebron. The men were taken for questioning by security forces.
On Sunday evening IDF troops stopped anarmed Palestinian from infiltrating Shevei Shomron. The forces identified the gunman trying to cut his way through the fence surrounding the West Bank settlement, north-west of Nablus.
Soldiers shouted at the would-be infiltrator to stop, at which point he opened fire at the soldiers and ran away.
Last Friday, an Israeli man and woman were mildly injured when Palestinians fired gunshots at their vehicle on the road between the West Bank settlements of Karnei Shomron and Kedumim. The shooters fled the scene.
