Muslim group urges FBI to investigate mosque attack

An advocacy group for Muslims in the United States called on the FBI on Tuesday to investigate an attack on Muslim worshippers outside an Ohio mosque. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, said the attack occurred Friday night as worshippers attended prayers at Masjid As-Sahaaba to mark the monthlong fast of Ramadan.
The attackers made derogatory statements and began throwing rocks, striking one worshipper in the back and smashing two windows on the front of the mosque, according to a police report. (AP)
