Syria: Israel, US responsible for death of Lebanese MP

State officials in Syria accused Israel and the United States of assassinating anti-Syrian Lebanese MP Antoine Ghanem in Beirut on Wednesday, reported the Qatar-based 'al-Watan' newspaper.
"Those who assassinated Ghanem are also the ones who carried out the previous assassinations and they are the ones who gained from all those murders," the paper quoted the officials as saying. (Roee Nahmias)
