UK foreign secretary says al-Qaeda exploiting Israeli-Palestinian conflict
Al-Qaeda is exploiting the suffering of the Palestinians as an excuse for its violence, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said Tuesday.
"We need to remove the excuse. We need urgent progress to address Israeli security concerns and Palestinian rights through the only solution: a two state solution in the Middle East," he told delegates at the Labour Party conference. (AP)
