Soldiers stormed a mosque in the Indian-controlled portion of Kashmir, killing two suspected rebels who were hiding inside during a 20-hour siege, officials said Sunday.
The alleged militants were killed after they opened fire on troops who had chased them inside a mosque in Tujan village, 45 kilometers (28 miles) northwest of Srinagar, the biggest city in Jammu-Kashmir state, said senior police official Ashiq Bukhari. (AP)
