Aircraft collision prevented at Ben Gurion airport yesterday

The control tower at Ben Gurion airport diverted an Israir airplane that was preapring to land at Ben Gurion airport at the last minute yesterday after it realized that an Alitalia plane was preparing to take off on the same runway.

The Ministry of Transportation has opened an investigation into the matter. (Eli Senyor)
