Israel officially denies responsibility for death of Palestinian boy
Israel officially denied responsibility for the death of Muhammed al-Dura at the start of the intifada, in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Monday.
Al-Dura, a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, was killed on September 30, 2000, when he and his father were caught in a crossfire between IDF forces and a Palestinian mob in the Gaza Strip. (Ronny Sofer)
