Shas: Keep Syria out of Annapolis
Shas officials addressed on Sunday the United States' intentions to invite Syria to attend the upcoming peace conference in Annapolis: "Assad the son, like his father before him, is not a supporter of Israel. We must avoid a situation that forces us to make concessions on two fronts at Annapolis."
Earlier in the day US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said that the conference would not focus on promoting Israeli-Syrian negotiations. (Roni Sofer)
