Putin: Russian nuclear force ready for any attack

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia's nuclear forces must be ready for a fast and adequate response to any aggressor, the state-run RIA news agency reported.

Putin also said at a meeting with top generals that Russia will not remain indifferent to NATO's build-up close to its borders, RIA reported. (Reuters)
