An Israeli aircraft targeted a Hamas base in southern Gaza on Wednesday, killing one Hamas man and wounding another, Palestinian officials said.
The Israeli military confirmed the strike, saying it was retaliation for Palestinian rocket and mortar fire from Gaza into Israel. (AP)
