Iranian parliament president to make historic visit to Egypt

Iranian parliament Chairman Gholamali Haddad-Adel is expected to visit Egypt this coming February, Spokesman for the Iranian parliament Foreign Affairs and Security Commission, Kazem Jalali told Iranian news agency Fars.
This historic visit will occur in Cairo as part of a summit of Islamic parliaments, and represents the first time that an Iranian official of this ranking had visited Egypt since the two countries cut diplomatic ties in 1980. (Dudi Cohen)
